Got a call out of the blue from Resolve about checking my loft insulation. Figured I’d give it a go since I hadn’t had it looked at in years. The guy who came round was really nice and not at all like those pushy sales people you usually get. The whole inspection took about an hour, just like they said it would on the phone. Turns out my insulation is all good, which gave me peace of mind knowing my roof’s in good shape. I’d definitely suggest giving this firm a chance - they’re a breath of fresh air compared to the usual cold call companies. Mr Wyatt.

Got a call from a lady asking for me or my hubby, she actually knew our surname. She said she was offering a free loft check. I told her I wasn’t interested but she kept going on and on, barely letting me get a word in before I had to just hang up. She really couldn’t accept a no.

Got a call from this number recently. I've got hearing difficulties, so I asked the lady to say again who she was as I couldn't catch their company name. She was really impolite, snapping "I'm trying to explain but you keep cutting me off. I'm done now," and just ended the call. If they're that unpleasant over the phone, I'd rather not deal with them at all. Stay clear!

I got a call from someone saying they were from 'Resolve' checking their Energy records. When I told her I’m on the TPS list, she got quite annoyed. She kept saying it wasn’t a marketing call and it wasn’t against the law. I told her I still found it irritating and she just said that was my opinion. I explained that the whole reason I signed up to TPS was to avoid calls like that.

Got a call from this number at 11:15 this morning. Lucky for me, I’ve got BT Call Guardian which makes the phone ring only once before it blocks the call straight away. Since I’m on the TPS list, I’m planning to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office. I’d really suggest everyone do the same with these pest calls - they can end up paying big fines for ignoring TPS rules. It’s a free way to make them think twice. Works for me every time! Got a call from a woman named Tracy who said she was carrying out some consumer research. After she checked my name and address, she asked about the last time I had loft insulation and told me I was eligible for a free inspection. She then mentioned that it’s soon going to be compulsory by new energy saving laws, and I’d have to pay for it later on. I wasn’t interested, so she said she’d just remove me from the list for the free check.

0121 732 9553 - got a call from some firm called RESOLVE on my landline. No one said anything, just a lot of noise in the background, then they ended the call. I looked up the number using 1471 and rang them back from another phone. When they picked up, it was the same noisy background, and the woman kept saying "hello, you’re speaking to Resolve" over and over. I just decided to hang up.

I received a phone call from a woman inquiring whether I was the owner of my residence. Naturally, I was curious as to why she needed that information, and she claimed it was to refresh some ownership records. When I probed further, she mentioned that someone would contact me regarding a complimentary inspection to determine if I qualified for loft insulation, assuring me it wasn't a sales pitch. I politely declined, but she kept pushing, insisting she was merely trying to assist and that it was beneficial for me. At that point, I firmly told her she was being a pest and to jog on! A man called out for us by name but I didn’t say anything, just stayed quiet to see if he’d say anything else. There was this awkward silence like a standoff. I ended up hanging up. Interestingly, when I did answer a call from them the day before, the chap claimed his name was Ben and that he was with the Telephone Preference Service! Since I hadn't reached out to them at all, I chose to hang up.

Got a call claiming to be from the Resolve Group. The woman kept firing off questions about loft insulation and whether I qualified for some government grant.
