I received a call from an individual who claimed I could obtain solar panels at no expense whatsoever. However, when I pressed him on the details, he informed me that I would need to secure a loan of £10,000, which I would supposedly recoup through savings on my energy bills. I promptly pointed out that this arrangement certainly wouldn’t be free, despite his claims. After a rather lengthy discussion, he had the audacity to say I’d squandered six minutes of his time and told me to get lost! Interestingly, he stated he was phoning from Torquay, yet the number displayed was registered in Birmingham. Quite the peculiar situation, wouldn’t you say?
