got a call from swift claims about a car crash, but ive never been in one! really strange.

Got a call from someone talking about an accident, then they asked me to verify my home address. I just told them it was incorrect, no clue how they got my info, but I’m actually from Birmingham. Answered because I thought it could be serious. This definitely felt like some kind of scam. Best to not pick up. By the way, does anyone know if these numbers ever get looked into? Feels like a scam to me.
