Got a call from a woman speaking with an Asian accent who insisted it wasn’t a sales pitch but a survey about loft insulation. She started by asking if I owned the property or rented it. Then she wanted to know my age category, specifically if I was between 45 and 65. When I said I was younger, she pressed for my exact age. I asked why my age had anything to do with loft insulation and what the point of the call really was. She hesitated and just said it was a survey, so I ended up hanging up.

The caller said he was ringing about loft insulation, but it’s never actually for me they want. Loads of times I’ve answered, and it’s either total silence or just a long pause, which is really annoying. Plus, they call at all sorts of weird times that aren’t exactly sociable. Honestly, it feels like this call centre is just pestering me constantly.
