It had that unmistakable electronic tone, informing us that contacting this number was deemed illegal. Quite puzzling, isn't it? Does anyone have any thoughts on who might be behind this?

Does anyone have an idea who might be behind this number? Our elderly dad keeps receiving calls from a bloke using this number almost every day this month, apparently trying to get in touch with us. Every time we've tried to return the call, the line says it's not available. We’re ex-directory and registered with the telephone preference service, so this is really frustrating!
