Got a call from them today (24/02/2017) around 5:50pm. It was an Asian guy asking me to answer security questions before explaining the reason for the call. I told him I wouldn’t share any info since I don’t know who he is. I’m registered with TPS and reminded him I shouldn’t be getting unsolicited calls. He just ended the call after that.

I got a call at 10.02am on Thursday 22nd December. When I answered, there was loads of background noise, but no one spoke. I called back using hands-free, but the number wasn’t recognised. Something similar happened on 8th December too. An Asian woman said 'it’s about your computer'. I asked ‘what about it?’ and she just repeated ‘it’s about your computer’. I hung up. The number had a Manchester area code but the last five digits were 59279, which isn’t valid. Seems like all these are just scams to me.

Received a call on 22/12/16 at about 10:40 from someone saying they're from Aviva Insurance asking about an accident. The caller kept asking loads of personal info, so I told them I wasn’t comfortable and that they should already have the details on file. I asked for a callback number and then the guy started swearing at me! I ended the call straight away. The caller was a male, sounded Asian. Since then, this number has been ringing the whole office non-stop.

I picked up the phone and there was nothing but silence. After a moment, I said, ‘Is someone there?’ A voice with a Brummie accent just said ‘Hello’ and then hung up. I’ve reached a point of pure frustration with this incessant caller. They keep ringing me up, relentless in their queries about some supposed accident I supposedly had. Honestly, I’m fed up with their persistence! I’ve made it clear - multiple times, mind you - that I’ve never been in an accident and that I have no interest in claiming for whatever nonsense they’re peddling. Despite my requests to have my number removed from their database, it’s like talking to a brick wall; they just carry on as if I haven’t spoken. I try my best to ignore their calls, but lo and behold, they keep coming back! Can someone please assist me with this nuisance?

Someone rang my work number and it wasnt by mistake. This guy, sounded like he was Asian, started saying he "wanted my ass" or something mad like that. I just said alright then. I received a call from an Asian gentleman concerning a recent car crash I had been involved in. When I inquired about how he acquired my information, he mentioned 'Aviva.' However, when I requested more specifics, he rudely told me to ‘sling it, mate.’ I then tried to call back the number to report this suspicious encounter, only to find it was untraceable. It’s incredibly concerning - these blokes ought to be looked into!

Got a call on my unlisted landline, which is also TPS protected, from a man claiming to represent the Accident Advice Centre. I cut the call straight away. The caller ID showed 'international,' but when I checked with 1471, it showed a Birmingham number, 0121 709 5488. Tried ringing it back but the automated message said the number was invalid. Smells like a scam if you ask me.
