I received a call earlier from someone with a foreign accent, who insisted they were calling from Microsoft about an issue with my computer. I promptly informed them that they were trying to pull a fast one and said I’d be reporting them to the police before hanging up. Surely, there must be a way for my internet service provider to tackle this. I've lost count of the number of these dodgy calls I've had recently-at least thirty in the past two weeks, all alleging to be from Microsoft, BT, Virgin, or just some random "internet provider." It’s getting quite ridiculous!
