This number rang me at around 9:30 in the morning saying my internet was at risk from hackers in three different countries. They said if I didn’t act straight away, my connection would be cut off. Then they told me to press 1 to speak to an engineer who’d supposedly come out and install a new router for free. Total scam, don't fall for it!

Got an automated voice claiming there’s an issue with my IP address and telling me to call back or my internet would be disconnected within an hour. I checked the number with 1471 and it showed up as 0121 705 7944. The call came through at 9.36 this morning. I ignored it and didn’t bother to call them back.

got a call from someone saying they were from BT and that my internet was acting up, but it felt like a total scam to me. they said they'd fix it but I didn’t trust them at all. be careful with these kind of calls!
