I had a rather peculiar phone call at half past nine this morning. The caller informed me that my internet security had been compromised by three different countries and that I needed to act swiftly, or risk losing my internet connection entirely. They then instructed me to press 1 to speak to an 'engineer' who would supposedly come round and install a new router at no cost. Honestly, what a load of nonsense!

I picked up a recorded voice message earlier today warning me about an issue with my IP address. It urged me to call back promptly to prevent my internet from being disconnected within the next hour. After checking, I found out the call was from 0121 705 7944, which came through at 09:36 this morning. I decided against ringing them back.
