Someone phoned me claiming they were with a TPS affiliate. They said they'd stop nuisance calls from overseas for good, cause apparently the TPS itself only blocks local ones. Then they asked what I paid BT for call blocking and somehow knew my home number and address. Bit sketchy if you ask me.

They started by saying they knew I’d been getting annoying calls. I just answered, yeah, you’re one of the annoying ones, probably some dodgy scam or something.

she just ended the call as soon as i told her i couldn’t get what she was saying, and her english was really thick with an accent.

So, I got a ring from some bloke with an Indian accent, called himself Brian. He was all like, "I can help you get rid of annoying calls." I told him straight up that the call he was making was exactly the kind I don't want, and he better quit calling me.
