This number rings me a couple of times a week, usually between 8 and 9 in the morning on weekdays, except when lockdowns were in place. Whenever I answer, the person on the other end claims to be from the TSB, but once I say I’m not a customer, they hang up straight away. I reckon when they reach a real TSB customer, they probably start some kind of scheme aimed at emptying your account. They must be good at it, otherwise they wouldn’t keep trying. No one falls for obvious scams these days, so I’d say be very cautious with this number.

I get calls from this number nonstop, like loads of times each day. Even though I've blocked it, they somehow manage to call me again. When I finally picked up, the person said they were from TSB bank and started asking me some security stuff. I told them I already checked with TSB and this number had nothing to do with them - it’s clearly a scam. I told them to stop calling me for good!

They phoned me at 8:20 in the morning, bit early for a bank to be ringing. Asked for a name I’d never come across, I said “That’s me.” Then said they were from TSB and wanted to run me through some security questions. I pointed out that they’d called me first, and then all the usual scammer tactics kicked in like others have said here. When he realised he wasn’t getting anywhere, he just hung up. No doubt these people are pretty slick, and it’s clearly worth their time or they wouldn’t bother, so they definitely should be seen as dangerous.

Got six calls within a week from someone saying they were TSB, wanting my info like my name but never explaining why, just saying it was for "security reasons". When I wouldn’t give anything, they told me to ring the number on the TSB site. Checked with TSB and they said they didn’t make any calls. Definitely looks like a scam to me.

Someone saying they were from TSB called me and started asking loads of personal stuff for security. I told her I wasn’t comfortable and she told me to look up their number online and ring her back. Ended up getting 4 calls from them in total.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from TSB, he told me to ring back on 0345 835 3374 since he couldnt get hold of the account holder. Turns out that number is connected to TSB Mortgage arrears. Also had a look on Twitter and TSB said 0121 696 4068 is definitely one of their legit numbers.

Got a call about TSB mortgage arrears, so I messaged TSB on Twitter to check and they said yeah, it’s from them. Had a chat with the person on the phone who told me to ring back on 0345 835 3374 - I looked up that number and it seems legit too.

this number popped up on my phone but only rang for a second, i called back coz i was expecting a call from birmingham. a lady picked up and said i was connected to sam at TSB. sounded like it might be one of them calls trying to get you to come down and look at your account, probably trying to sell insurance or some upgrade. i told them id rung the wrong number. figured i’d share in case anyone else gets it.
