I got a call from this number today at about 10:44 in the morning. A woman spoke with a German accent, said her name was Angela, and used my last name before asking if I had a boiler. When I asked which company she was representing, she just ended the call straight away. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

some bloke named jim or maybe jing rang me claiming he was from the government, talking about a free boiler replacement. he asked how old my boiler was and seemed to know my address and phone number, even though i'm on the tps register. when i kept pressing for the company he said it was ‘pbc’ and insisted it was official govt stuff. then he got proper rude and called me a time waster before just cutting me off. honestly felt really pushy and a bit like harassment.

They've rung me about five times today, three of those during lunch. Each time they were after my husband, whose name is listed in the phone book. They claimed to be from some local government funding dept, but never actually said which one, so I’m sure it’s not our council. The voice sounded foreign, maybe Asian. Just got a call again, but I hung up straight away and the phone started ringing right away once more - finally we put it onto the answerphone.
