On a miserable, rainy evening in winter, the RAC left me and my disabled son stranded after failing to turn up. Fortunately, we had an extra cover through a separate AA policy for a named driver, who arrived without hassle. They spent a good hour fixing everything before escorting us back home. The RAC? Absolute rubbish - like some kind of collection thugs. First thing the next day, I ditched all my RAC policies and switched entirely to the AA. After a fight, I got a half-hearted apology and part refund, but they’re still trying to charge me for cancelling. As if I’m paying up because of their constant nagging - they’ve got no clue who they’re dealing with.
