On a particularly bleak winter's night, braving the elements, the R.A.C left my son, who has disabilities, and I stranded due to their failure to show up. Thankfully, we had taken out an additional insurance policy with the AA for a named driver. They came to our rescue without delay, spending a good hour resolving the situation, and we made our way home, partly accompanied by their team. As for the R.A.C, I wasted no time in terminating all my policies with them at the crack of dawn. I swiftly switched my loyalties to the AA. After a bit of a tussle, I managed to wrangle a semi-apology and a little refund from them, yet they still believe I'm liable for a cancellation fee. That's a laugh! If they think that relentless pestering is going to make me cough up anything, they're sorely mistaken.
