I received an automated call purporting to be from BT, ominously informing me that my internet was at risk of being hacked and would soon be disconnected. They urged me to press 1 to chat with a so-called engineer, but I opted to hang up instead. Curiosity got the better of me, so I tried to call the number back, only to find it was unrecognised. Definitely sounds like dodgy business to me!

Got a recorded call saying it was BT and my internet was being hacked and would be cut off soon. They told me to press 1 to talk to an engineer, but I just ended the call. I tried calling the same number back after, but it didn't even exist. Definitely seems like a scam to me.
