Got a frustrating call from some call centre claiming I've had an accident. I just shouted "nah, not me! Byeee!" and hung up, then blocked the number. They always ring at the worst times too. Proper nuisance.

Yesterday and today I received calls on my mobile from 01216 875 671 and 01993 251 996 which turned out to be just pointless calls. Normally, the only texts I get on this phone are from my daughter since it’s usually switched off and mainly used for making occasional calls. I don’t even know the number off by heart, but I did enter it recently on an insurance company’s website, so I guess someone there might have shared my info somewhere. Just watch out!

Without a doubt, this is a dodgy call! They don’t bother to ask for any specific name and when questioned about their location, they just waffle on. It seems like they assume anyone who picks up must have been involved in a car crash. Quite shady, if you ask me!

Got the identical nonsense about some car accident that wasn’t even my fault. I answered “yes, that’s right” (which is a complete lie). This number, plus a couple of others pretty much the same, buzz my phone nearly every day. Normally, i don't pick up if i don’t recognise the number but i answered once. A woman said something like “our records indicate that you.” Took one look at that and just told her a bunch of swear words, then she cut off! And guess what? They had the cheek to ring me back the very next morning!
