Received a call regarding a so-called pension evaluation aimed at either cutting my costs or enhancing my life insurance. I promptly inquired, “Which firm are you representing?” Their answer was a vague, “We collaborate with Aviva and L&G...” I persisted, “But who exactly are you?” They simply repeated their previous line about working with Aviva. I then probed further, “Are you even aware of what life cover I possess, if any at all?” It was crystal clear they hadn’t a clue. Total charlatans playing around with my time.
