This outfit is nothing short of a scam, masquerading as the road accident recovery service. A chap named Jamie rang me following my car crash, suggesting I could pocket a small fortune for any injuries I had supposedly endured. He was remarkably well-informed about the ins and outs of the incident and the relevant insurers, which initially led me to trust him. However, once I did a quick search online, I found that the company was a complete figment of someone’s imagination! It became abundantly clear that he was all too keen on persuading me to lodge a claim for non-existent injuries, regardless of the fact that I had come away from the accident with hardly a scratch. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this number, as it ended up being a colossal waste of my valuable time.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from the Traffic Management Association. Like others have said, my insurance is with LV, and this annoying call came right after I made a claim. Really upset that my private info has been passed around dodgy groups - I've already blocked the number.

They called me asking loads about my accident, going on about how the other person's insurance would rise even if I didn’t claim for injury. After a while they seemed irritated and just hung up. Then the phone rang again but only twice, which was them trying again. Seriously, don’t trust these lot.

They also go by "The Traffic Accident Aftercare Service" and say they started last year to keep an eye on accident claims for the Law Society. But I couldn't find any info about them on the Law Society’s website or anywhere else. They say they got my details from LV, so I’m definitely going to chase that up!

Got a call from LV at 13:51 on 18th June 2021. The caller said they were with First Response and asked about an accident. The accent was Liverpudlian, though not overly thick like some I've heard.

Got a call this morning from someone saying they were from a company called "First Response". Typical chat about being owed compensation for a car crash. Something felt off, so I looked it up here. Rang my insurance, and they had no clue about it and had never heard of that company. The bloke rang back later, asked who gave him my number (he had a Liverpool accent), claimed they partner with all major insurers so my details must be "out there". Told him not to call again and ended the call. Honestly, sounded quite convincing though, which was a bit worrying.

Just got a call from this number saying they were from the national road traffic accidents dept. Claimed they had info from my insurer LV and sounded dead serious. I, being a mug, went along with it. Got passed to a solicitor who said the line was rubbish, but I could hear perfectly fine. She promised to ring me back. Obviously, ain’t happening. They said they were from some accident help service, real pushy about claiming millions for personal injuries and wellbeing - even said taking paracetamol at home counted! Started off sounding believable but got rude and unprofessional when I told them nobody was hurt. I called it dangerous because he even gave tips about my kids’ car seats and said the only way to claim anything was through personal injury allowance. That info was rubbish, but could be harmful for someone who’s desperate and vulnerable. Proper worrying.

They said they were from National Accident Helpline, but when I got in touch with the actual National Accident Helpline, they had no info about my call or any accident related to me. It all sounded so convincing though.

Just had a call from someone claiming to be Gary at Insurance Adviser Service or something like Zenith, saying I drive a white Golf, not a Suzuki motorbike. Even got my car reg wrong. The phone line got all scratchy and I ended up hanging up. Looked up the number here and it seems a bit suspect to me.

These people rang me while I was at work, so I was a bit puzzled. They kept trying to convince me to make a claim for an accident where I wasn't hurt, basically asking me to fib. Then they said they’d send a courier with documents for me to sign. I checked with my insurance provider, and they told me it’s a con. They claim you’ll get 1-3k if you do the claim. They seem pretty slick and rehearsed. There’s no such thing as an Accident Database - it’s all nonsense. Best thing is to block the number straightaway and let your insurance know.

Some guy called Mark Johnson from the accident aftercare team supposedly got in touch. I’d just been in a crash and Zenith insurers plus their appointed folks were dealing with it. After a bit, I wondered exactly who this lot were. I asked simple things like who told them to call me, where they operate from, how they get paid, and who exactly they represent - pretty basic stuff when a company claims to be helping you. Turns out it was all ‘above Mr Johnson’s level’ to explain. Definitely not someone I’d trust.

What really creeps me out is that the person calling had specific info about the accident and pretended to be from the repair firm, saying they wanted to “speed things along.” When I said I’d only speak with the broker or their official claims handler (who I made sure to set up a security question with), they got a bit annoyed and warned I’d be seen as uncooperative. Just because someone can mention details about an incident doesn’t mean their call is legit. The insurance world seems super insecure, so only ever deal with your insurer, broker, or whoever they’ve authorised.

i was rung up by this firm about the crash i had recently, they were really nice and easy to talk to. they helped me get my claim sorted and now ive received £3450 in compensation. would defo suggest giving them a go, they were quick and proper helpful throughout the whole thing.

someone rang me claiming zenith sent them a file about me linked to an accident. i told them i was on hands free and couldnt chat while driving. they said they'd call me back at 4pm on my landline, which they also had. i phoned zenith and they said they’d never heard of this accident advice group and don’t share info with third parties. the lady said it’s unlikely he’ll call back like he said. i’m hoping he does, so i can tell him i’m recording and that i’m a retired detective inspector from thames valley police. i’m not really, but if they wanna bluff, then so do i.
