It's utterly pointless trying to get in touch with the Telephone Preference Service. Seriously, what on earth do they do with the multitude of complaints that pile up? Have they ever managed to penalise anyone for their telemarketing antics? Oh, and it might be worth your while to investigate who backs the TPS financially.

I've been receiving daily phone calls from this number. It’s always a pre-recorded message claiming there’s a refund waiting for me. They suggest I can "opt out" by pressing 9, but I can’t shake the suspicion that it might end up costing me something!

It's incredibly frustrating and quite annoying, especially when I'm trying to take a significant call but can’t because of this nuisance.
