Got a call where the person already knew my name and where I lived, and they brought up a washing machine I supposedly bought. They said the insurance cover price had been lowered this year and wanted to know if I wanted to keep paying by the same direct debit. I told them I was baffled since I never set up a direct debit or had any cover, then the call was cut off straight away. My suspicion is that if I'd agreed, they would've tried to get my bank info. Feels like a scam to me.
