9 yearsI received a call just the other day from someone who appeared to know my name and address. They inquired about the washing machine I bought not too long ago, claiming that they had slashed the price of the cover for it this year. They wanted to know if I’d like to keep my direct debit details on file. The moment I expressed my bewilderment, mentioning that I hadn't set up any direct debit or insurance, they abruptly ended the call. It all strikes me as rather dodgy.
