I don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise, especially since this one never bothers to leave a voicemail.

I received a call from this number, and a woman on the other end mentioned something about a survey. She didn’t clearly state which company she represented and assured me that she would only ask a few straightforward questions before leaving me alone. I didn’t mind considering I usually don’t shy away from surveys, but then she started requesting personal details I wasn’t willing to disclose. So, I politely hung up. It could potentially be a scam, or perhaps it genuinely is a survey needing some personal information. Regardless, it’s probably wiser to avoid answering such calls altogether.

I got through but there was nobody there, then another time they just hung up on me.

Got a call from a woman with a Filipino accent claiming she was doing a consumer survey about selling your home to cover care costs. I told her outright that cold calling like this isn’t allowed and asked where they got my number from. She said it was because my number wasn’t registered on the do not call list, which I corrected, telling her it definitely was on it. I told her to quit calling people like that. Anyone who says they’re just doing a survey is suspect coz they usually want your private details. The call came through from somewhere in Birmingham.

Got a call from this number earlier today but no voicemail was left. Wondering if it’s some kind of scam or just spam? Should I just block it? Curious what others think about it.

It was another bogus survey call, they kept pushing to get my personal info so I just hung up right away. I blocked the number straight away, and I'm really glad I've got the option to report it on this who called me website to warn others! Cheers!!

Picked up, and it just went silent; when I tried calling back, a recorded voice told me to leave my name to “opt out.” Opt out of what exactly? The number is 01216636148.

I picked up and before I could say anything, they just ended the call. Such a waste of time and really irritating!
