2 yearsI got two calls from this number, and both times it was a bloke with a strong Indian accent asking about who my phone provider was. The calls seemed to come from Birmingham in the UK. The first call happened right after I’d texted my old provider for a PAC code to move my number to a new company, which felt a bit fishy. Then, about three weeks later, right after I switched providers, he rang again, saying he was from my old phone company and had a better deal for me. I didn’t give him anything, but the whole thing seemed dodgy because of the timing and his dodgy manner.Birmingham2 yearsGot a call from some bloke, couldn’t quite make out which company he said even after asking twice. Right away I was a bit suspicious it was a scam. Switched to a bright, friendly tone just to play along and hear them out. They said something about a discount because of problems with my broadband, but gave me a totally different company name.
