I received a call earlier claiming that I had been involved in a car accident. The amusing part? I don’t even own a car! How bizarre!

I got one of those automated calls saying "I'm ringing about your car crash, is that correct?" then if you say anything it makes a little beep and the robot voice goes on asking stuff like "where and when did it happen?" I think it records all the yes replies and later someone real gets in touch to try and scam you or something.

got a call from a woman called kirsty, she said something about an accident i was involved in but i hadn’t been in one at all. her voice was really flat, sounded like a robot or someone with zero feeling. felt really weird.
