I got a call at 4 in the morning from these lot, proper annoying. I even picked up just to be met with loads of bleeping noises, so I had to drag myself downstairs to block the number. It ended up waking everyone in the house! Absolutely ridiculous!

Got a ring at half past six this morning, proper woke me up out of the blue. It made me a bit anxious, cos usually at that time you only get calls if there’s some sort of trouble. Turns out it was one of those automated messages, some American bloke telling me I’d won £150,000 in a lottery. Yeah, right! These sorts of scams need to be shut down and fined, but since they’re overseas, nothing really gets done about it. Frustrating!

Don’t trust this number at all. They call and claim you’ve won some American lottery, which is rubbish because I’ve never even taken part in one. I got a voicemail supposedly from the US lottery saying I’d won £100,000. Bit odd, since I thought they used $ over there, not £! They said I had 18 days before the offer ran out and to press #1 for details. I figured they’d ask for my bank info next, trying to swindle my money out of me. There was an option #2 if the call was a mistake, so naturally I hit #2. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.
