These scammers have got hold of my phone number and email, and they keep sending dodgy texts trying all sorts of tricks to steal my bank info. Sometimes they even send links claiming I should download something, but I reckon it’s just malware to steal my phone data - no chance! I get loads of these scam messages every day, like six or more, plus calls as well. Even when I block one number or email, they just keep coming from different ones. It’s pretty worrying, especially for older people or anyone who isn’t savvy about this stuff.

Got a call from someone pretending to be O2, saying I could get an upgrade now. I told them I wasn’t eligible for another upgrade for at least a year, so I didn’t get where they were coming from. Then she kept insisting I could save a bit of money by upgrading sooner (yeah, right…). I told her it sounded dodgy since O2 already confirmed my actual upgrade date, and she just kinda mumbled "ok" a few times. Ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Been getting loads of dodgy calls lately claiming to be from O2, each time from a different number. One even knew stuff like my email and address to make it sound legit. Every time, I told them to just check my account details on my bill - which they obviously couldn’t do - so they kept avoiding the question. Had a bit of a laugh chatting with them for about ten minutes, then they asked for my bank card info. I told them I was a bit too tipsy to read the numbers, but I’d ask the leprechaun sitting beside me to help out. They ended the call right after that.

However, I terminated the conversation quite swiftly since I had just switched to a sim-only deal with my own phone merely a month ago.
