Another scam call, I'm so over it.

This caller seems to ring me daily from various new numbers. It's clearly a scam. Whenever I answer, they just disconnect.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, no message was left so I’ve just blocked it. Seems like it was probably another scam.

My wife has received several calls from this number, but she hasn’t picked up any of them. We did a bit of digging, and it looks rather suspicious-definitely gives off the vibe of a scam.

I rang my mother to discuss her potential upgrade with O2, and what a shambles it turned out to be! It was clearly a scam by someone who doesn’t have a clue what they’re doing. They requested her bank details, which is utterly ridiculous, as O2 would never need to ask for that during an upgrade; they already have her information on file. Not to mention, they should know her name and other personal details - this caller had none of that. When my mum confronted the scammer, he got into a right argument and then abruptly hung up on her. For heaven's sake, DO NOT share your information with these crooks! I've reported the incident to O2, and they revealed that some con artists might send out a password reset code, pretending it’s a legitimate upgrade or security verification, in order to gain access to your account. Now they’re suggesting that these scammers have started to ask for bank details as well. It’s absolutely shocking!

I found that O2 had a more appealing offer. My existing contract had come to an end, yet I was informed that I was shelling out more than I truly was. They proposed a deal that, after applying the discount, turned out to be pricier than what I'm currently paying. As for signing a two-year commitment, I’ll pass on that!

Somebody rang up saying they could sort me a better deal for my O2 account, but it was obviously a scam. Felt a bit dodgy from the start.

Got a call on 13th June at 9:31 from obviously an Indian guy. He knew my first name and said he was from O2, offering some kind of upgrade deal. When I questioned him a bit, he started dodging my questions like he was reading from a script and then suddenly cut the call. Seemed really fishy to me.

Every day it feels like I get random calls from numbers I don't recognise. Just missed another one.

I keep getting blasted by these annoying calls constantly! Honestly, how come nobody's doing anything to put an end to this nonsense?! It's driving me mad!

Picked up when this number rang but there was no one speaking, so I just blocked it.

Had a chat with a representative from O2 and mentioned that I’m tied to Tesco Mobile. The moment I did, she launched into her sales spiel, but as soon as I clarified I was on a Premier Division contract with Tesco, she quickly lost interest and dropped it.

Got a call from this number saying they were from 02 about a new SIM. Thought it was legit but now the number’s blocked. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

I picked up the phone and it was this random number, but the caller just hung up straight away.

I received a call recently regarding my O2 contract, which they claimed had just come to an end. However, it wasn’t even O2 who reached out. They employed some aggressive sales tactics, which raised my eyebrows, especially since my actual contract lapsed eight years ago, and I’m currently enjoying a rolling month-to-month arrangement at the same rate. Oddly enough, they had a few of my details, which made me quite uneasy. I stayed on the line for a bit because they suggested a cheaper plan while keeping my current O2 number. When I asked them to send over the contract for me to examine, they obliged. At first glance, it seemed relatively above board, but I soon noticed several inaccuracies in the details. Nevertheless, they rambled on, attempting to rush me through the signing process with urgency. I informed them that the call was dragging on too long and that I'd prefer to read through the document properly before making any decisions. Yet, they continued to chatter away, and I found myself shuffled between three individuals, each with a distinct and thick accent. Eventually, I decided to end the call. Following that, I shot off an email containing five queries about the contract, explicitly stating not to call me again but to reply via email. Despite this, I received another four calls almost immediately, each from a different number yet all traced back to the same company. This entire ordeal has left me feeling rather on edge, and I’ve now resolved to ignore any calls from unfamiliar numbers.

Received a call from someone purporting to be O2, presenting a supposedly enticing new deal. However, I’m quite certain this is not the case; just three weeks prior, I upgraded my contract with O2 and got myself a shiny new phone. Definitely smells fishy to me!

I've had this number ring me multiple times, so I've decided to block it.

I believe this number belongs to O2.
