got a call, a couple rings then it stopped. I called back and some American voicemail said extension 140 wasn’t available, so I could leave a message or press the £ key. Pretty weird if you ask me.

In my experience, a woman rang me claiming to be representing some insurance firm and assured me she wasn’t trying to sell anything. However, she proceeded to request the renewal dates for every single insurance policy in my possession. Now, why on earth would I divulge such sensitive info to a complete stranger over the phone? This doesn't strike me as a legitimate approach to selling insurance! To top it off, I haven’t been able to locate any details about the company she mentioned, "New Drive." It absolutely reeks of a dubious call, if you ask me!

An interesting yet unwelcome experience, indeed... I received a call from a woman who was rather insistent on obtaining all my renewal dates for any and all "insurance plans" I might have. She mentioned a company that sounded like "New Drive" or something along those lines. I refrained from sharing any details, as I pointed out that, given my professional background, I'm not familiar with the company or its reliability. To top it off, the number hasn't matched any legitimate business listing. Quite frankly, it felt like an unnecessary intrusion - clearly a case of unwanted sales tactics in the realm of insurance.
