got a call, a couple rings then it stopped. I called back and some American voicemail said extension 140 wasn’t available, so I could leave a message or press the £ key. Pretty weird if you ask me.

In my experience, a woman rang me claiming to be representing some insurance firm and assured me she wasn’t trying to sell anything. However, she proceeded to request the renewal dates for every single insurance policy in my possession. Now, why on earth would I divulge such sensitive info to a complete stranger over the phone? This doesn't strike me as a legitimate approach to selling insurance! To top it off, I haven’t been able to locate any details about the company she mentioned, "New Drive." It absolutely reeks of a dubious call, if you ask me!

Got a strange call from a woman asking for the renewal dates on all my insurance policies. She said the company was called something like "new drive" or along those lines. I didn’t give her any details since I’m familiar enough with business not to trust a firm I’ve never heard of and couldn’t find any record of the number linked to a legitimate company. Felt like a pointless call just trying to sell insurance. Caller: unwanted-insurance-pitch.
