For ages now, this number has been ringing my landline, sometimes multiple times a day, often up until about 9 in the evening. It’s been going on since Christmas 2014. Never bother leaving a message on the answerphone either. One time I actually picked up thinking it was my son calling. The person on the line asked if I wanted to make a will because my birthday was around Christmas. I questioned where they got my ex-directory number from, and a woman said probably from loyalty cards, which is weird as I don’t use any! Then she just hung up on me. Can’t seem to find out who exactly they are, apart from that they’re supposedly based in Birmingham.

I’m on the telephone preference service and also have an ex-directory number, so I really don’t want any dodgy calls disrupting me. The next time the phone goes and someone picks up, I’ll have a proper look into who’s calling and deal with it from there.
