I got a call from a bloke claiming to be from BT, saying there was some strange activity on my internet and asking me to check my computer. Thing is, I’m not even a BT customer, so I figured it must be dodgy. Before I could say I wasn’t with BT, he kept insisting he was legit. Even when I told him again I don’t use BT, he wouldn’t back down, saying my provider had sent him. He also kept saying “listen to me” over and over, which was really annoying.
