I received a rather unexpected phone call from a bloke named Steve, who claimed to be with Secure Home Systems. He seemed somewhat thrown when I quizzed him on boiler replacement initiatives-though this call was certainly not about that! Regardless, it was yet another frustrating unsolicited sales pitch. I didn’t stick around; I just hung up!

I had a rather dodgy phone call the other day from a woman claiming to represent "Energy Supplies" or something along those lines. She was quite smooth-talking and mentioned that her firm had forked out cash to the TPS for the privilege of making unsolicited calls like the one I received. Curiously enough, she hung up as soon as I probed a bit more into the details. I've tried to ring back multiple times, but the number just doesn't pick up. It certainly feels like one of those suspicious calls to me.
