Got a call on my mobile once, picked it up and then they just hung up straight away.

Just got a random call on my phone at around 9:30am on 1 November 2017. The caller said, "Hello, I'm Linda. We've been informed that you've been in a car crash. Is that correct?" I replied, "No, definitely not. How did you get my number?" She said sorry and promised to remove me from their list, then hung up. Honestly, it was quite upsetting. Feels like some dodgy folks have a list of numbers they're passing round to telemarketers. This was the first time I'd ever had a cold call on my mobile.
