I had quite the experience with a call I received from a very loud lady claiming to be from BT, working in what sounded like a chaotic call centre. She insisted that my computer had been compromised and that she could rectify it, provided I gave her remote access. When I pointed out that I’m not even a BT customer, she accused me of lying! It was astonishing how she turned the tables so quickly! Honestly, it’s high time something was done about these relentless scam artists bombarding us with such nonsense.
