11 monthsthey keep calling way too much, had to block them quick!1 yearI just got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent about a call I supposedly made to the housing officer about an issue with my home. I actually own the place, so if there was any problem, I'd be the one sorting it out myself! Definitely a scam.1 yearGot a call from an Indian voice asking if there was any water leakage in my home - I just ended the call. After a quick look, Simwood say they aren’t a call centre and lots of folks are faking their numbers. I’ve marked the call as Harassment hoping they can sort it out.SimwoodHarassment1 yearGot a call outta nowhere about housing problems - didn’t come across as legit at all.1 yearHey everyone, I wish I could share a screenshot of my progress but I've had about 158 calls, spent close to 90 minutes on this, and finally got through to a manager or supervisor. Spoke with some people who seemed genuine - Emma, Harry, Harrison, and a few others. They all claimed to be from London or Birmingham, sticking strictly to their housing association script but never gave any info beyond that. On my 158th call, the guy dropped the robotic voice, blocked me as we had agreed, and actually apologised. Told me to man up and stop wasting his time. When I tried to arrange a proper discussion, like an adult, he threatened to expose my number. When I flipped it and shared his details, silence followed. Since then, my number’s been blocked and I’m relieved our deal stands. It took a while but this feels like a small win, and I hope I’ve stopped someone else from falling for their scam. Since he apologised and blocked me, I’m gonna respect that and not share anything publicly.EmmaHarryHarrisonLondonBirmingham1 yearA person called me saying they were from some housing association, claiming there was a fault reported at my property.
