Got a call from a lady who sounded like she had an Indian accent, asking to talk to the person in charge of the electricity bill. I told her that wasn’t me and that he doesn’t take calls from unknown numbers. Then I just ended the call.

some bloke with an indian accent rang up about our electricity bill or whatever. i cut him off quick and told him to not bother calling again, then hung up. no surprise, the phone rang right back straight away but i just ignored it.

I called back but there wasn’t any dial tone, just dead silence. Looks like one of those silent calls.

I had a rather bothersome experience with a chap from an energy brokerage, though he was rather coy about revealing his identity. Apparently, he was prattling on about our supposed account with SSE. Funny thing is, we don't actually have an account with them, so it left him rather flummoxed as it clearly wasn’t in his script to handle such a situation. He's been ringing us repeatedly, which is quite tiresome, as he gives off the impression that he's affiliated with a legitimate energy firm, rather than just being a middleman.
