I picked up the phone and no one said a word, obviously some kind of robocall trying to reach loads of people at once.

Today, this number popped up again. I’ve been having to put up with these lot for about a week now. It’s the same nonsense every single day, non-stop calls. I’ve told them off in no uncertain terms, asked to be taken off their list, even faked not knowing English, and eventually bunged a call through to 101. Honestly, it’s just plain tiresome and a bit scary. These people aren’t just annoying, they’re dodgy and pushy, probably trying to snag your computer details for some dodgy scheme.

As soon as I picked up the phone, the person on the other end just cut off straight away. I thought registering with BT to block these annoying calls would help, but it hasn’t made any difference at all, I’m still getting them nonstop.

I got a call from a guy, sounded Asian, who said he was from Microsoft. He told me my computer was sending out error warnings or something. I asked how he knew my name but he just mumbled something about a licence. Then he said "Are you at your computer? Minimise the screen, I'll show you the problem." I told him straight up this was a scam and he replied with "F you." Guess I was onto something there!

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent saying he was from Microsoft. Once he introduced himself, I didn’t bother listening and just told him to get lost before hanging up straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft saying there’s something wrong with my PC. I told him I’m 85 and don’t even own a computer, but he just shouted and called me a bloody liar, saying everyone’s got one these days. I ended up shouting back in Hindi and then just hung up on him.

I had this woman ring me up and when I just laughed at her lousy try to trick me, she started shouting all sorts. She was calling me old and daft, saying I didn’t know a thing about computers. Then as I kept chuckling, she went on about me being a criminal and ended up hanging me up on! Ridiculous really.

This dodgy number's obviously been bothering a bunch of folks, not just me. I always stick to my rule: if I don't recognise the number, I look it up before picking up. Don't get caught out by these sorts!

So my wife answered a call from a bloke with an Indian accent who started talking about our computer being broken or something. She told him straight up we don’t even have a computer, and he just goes on calling her a liar. He kept insisting on the same thing during their chat, then she just ended the call. Weird experience!

Had a phone call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, saying my computer was in trouble. I kept explaining for about ten minutes that Microsoft wouldn’t call like that. When I asked him for his number to ring him back, he just snapped at me to “go f#ck yourself”! Total scam, I reckon.

I wasn’t home when they called and they didn’t leave any voicemail. It says it’s risky to pick up since it might harm your computer, so I’d steer clear.

There’s this bloke who keeps ringing me, claiming he’s from Microsoft. He’s called loads over the last few weeks, including a couple of times today. At first, he calls me by my first name all polite and asks how I’m doing. I told him once that I knew he wasn’t really from Microsoft and then I just hung up, but he just keeps on ringing anyway.

Got a call like this a few months back, some guy pretending to be from Microsoft. Once I told him to do one and sort out his own life, he just dropped the call. Classic scam really.

I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from Microsoft. She said she needed to verify my computer’s ID number or something like that. When I asked if Microsoft contacted everyone with their software, she insisted they did. But as soon as I expressed my doubts, she started talking really fast in a way I couldn't understand. I told her I couldn’t follow what she was saying, and then she started being rude and just hung up on me. From reading other comments, I reckon she was gonna try flogging some kind of software to 'protect' my PC next.

I've received a couple of lengthy calls, each over 10 minutes, from the number 01216235210. The caller, who said his name was Ronnie and sounded like an Asian man, kept insisting he was from Microsoft, claiming my computer had issues. I questioned him on every point, especially telling him Microsoft never reaches out to customers like that. He was quite pushy, but today he definitely picked the wrong person to mess with. During the second call, I actually overheard him asking someone else for tips on how to deal with me, and as soon as I mentioned that, he quickly hung up.

I got the same call from someone claiming to be Microsoft about a supposed issue. I just played dumb and kept chatting with him. They usually want you to open programs like TeamViewer or "Anycomputer" so they can take over your computer. Don’t ever let them do that! After that, they might lock your files or put malware on your machine. Total con artists, really.

Got a call from some guy claiming to be from Microsoft, saying my computer had issues. I just ended the call straight away. Then, like a couple of minutes later, I got this robo-call warning me that my internet would be disconnected in 24 hours because of a serious virus. Bit dodgy if you ask me!

I've been getting calls almost daily from some bloke claiming to be from Microsoft, saying there’s a problem with my computer and that hackers are getting in. I told him straight to stop calling me, but he just won't quit. He’s always going on about cutting off my computer or something. It’s really annoying and a total pain!

This keeps happening all the time with these spoofed numbers, often coming from overseas and hard to trace. The authorities really need to crack down on this. I've had to block this number now, but no doubt they’ll just switch to a different one soon enough. My advice? Don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers, even if they look like local landlines. Or if you do answer, just stay silent and wait for them to hang up. That might drain their resources a bit. Afterwards, hang up and block the number if you can.

This bloke just rang me and even gave a Microsoft reference number to try and sound genuine. He kept saying my account might’ve been hacked and said he could sort it out. I told him to ring me back another time. After checking out these comments, I don’t think I’ll be blocking the number just yet.
