This number has called me a couple times, claiming to be from BT or EE, saying my service would be disconnected. Total scammers, don’t trust them!

Got a call from an Indian guy claiming he was from BT Openreach. He said my internet was about to be disconnected. I told him I’d get in touch with my actual internet provider since I’m not with BT. Then, he spoke to me like I was daft, saying, “Madam, it doesn’t matter who your provider is, we need to check your connection speed or you’ll be very unhappy, all your devices will be affected and your internet will be cut off.” That’s when I told him to shove off.
