I recently had a rather annoying experience with a company called Alchemy regarding insurance for loans. I asked them to remove my details from their records and not to contact me again. Not long after, they called back from the number 01216437511, claiming to represent a different company, FYM. I reiterated my request for them to delete my information and hung up. Almost immediately, they tried contacting me again using the 2001 number, and cheekily asked if I knew what FYM stood for - which is quite ludicrous, if you ask me. I've since reported the persistent calls to BT and lodged a formal complaint with their managing director. It's quite outrageous!
