I answered a call on my home phone and it was a recorded message telling me my IP address was at risk and to press 1 to fix it. I didn’t even bother, just hung up straight away cos it sounded dodgy. Also made sure to block the number so they can't bother me again!

Got a call with an automated voice, sounded like a native English speaker. They said they were from BT’s tech support, warning me about some dodgy activity on my broadband. Said my phone and internet were going to be disconnected soon. They told me to press 1 to chat with a technician. I just ended the call straight away.
