Got another spam call today. Our automated message goes like, "To cut down on unwanted calls, please leave a message and we’ll get back to you either straight away or as soon as we can. Go ahead and speak now." Of course, they didn’t bother leaving any message. Not shocked at all!

Right after the police had swung by to give me an update regarding a recent break-in at my place, I received a call from these individuals. What struck me as odd was their eagerness to pry into my personal details - I didn’t like the vibe at all and promptly turned them down. Given the chatter I've seen here, it seems quite evident that they’re up to no good and may very well be involved in some dodgy dealings aimed at fishing for sensitive info.

I keep getting calls from a number claiming to be from Surrey County Police, asking about my security measures in light of recent break-ins. It's exasperating, especially since the number has a Birmingham area code, and I don’t reside in either Surrey or Birmingham! It seems I received a call from some market research firm named M.E.L, supposedly working for local councils. When I tried returning their call, the response was somewhat vague, implying they'd get in touch again only if they deemed it necessary.
