Got another spam call today. Our automated message goes like, "To cut down on unwanted calls, please leave a message and we’ll get back to you either straight away or as soon as we can. Go ahead and speak now." Of course, they didn’t bother leaving any message. Not shocked at all!

What’s odd is that right after the real cops left with some news, these callers came straight in trying to get my personal details. I found it pretty dodgy and just said no. This number keeps ringing me up claiming they're from Surrey County Police, asking about my home security because of some burglaries nearby. It's really irritating since the call shows a Birmingham area code, and I don't even live in Surrey or Birmingham. Got a call from some market research firm named M.E.L, apparently working for local councils. I phoned them back but got some voicemail that just said they'd ring me again if necessary. If you wanna check if this company is legit, try calling 0500396999 and see if they're really registered or just a dodgy outfit.
