Got a call from 01216045286 saying my internet would be disconnected if I didn’t press 1 to sort it out. Pretty sure it’s a scam! Don’t fall for it.

Got a call again, this time they were going on about some car crash. Feels like a repeat, honestly.

So, at about half past three, I got a call from some number I didn’t recognise. I was tied up and honestly didn’t hear the phone at all. Later, I noticed the number popping up on my call log but it wasn’t familiar. I had a quick look online and it seems loads of people are getting calls from this one, even on their landlines. When I tried calling back the landline, it came up as ‘no number’ which is a bit odd.

This has to be a scam. I’ve never shared my phone number with anybody, so how on earth did they manage to get it?
