Yesterday and today, I got calls on my landline from a recorded message saying it was from BT. It told me my internet would be cut off within a day because someone had hacked our phone line. The message said to get in touch with BT by pressing 1 then 2 on the keypad. I didn't go along with it. What's creepy is the first 8 digits of the number calling matched our own number, which just shows how scammers can make it look like they’re ringing from nearby. Proper worrying stuff.

someone called me up trying to push a sale, and honestly they were quite pushy and a bit rude about it.
