The second time, I ended the call myself. Today, I asked where he got my number and why he’s so persistent, and again he just cut me off.

Since I do have Medic Alert for a relative, I gave it a chance but it was just some recorded voice talking over me, so I ended the call. You need to scroll down past the scam email info to find the section for reporting this kind of fraud. You don’t need to sign up or anything.

Some bloke called Matthew about government grants and it was all just dragging on. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away. Honestly, these sorts of calls are a right worry, especially for older folks who might get scammed. Someone needs to step in and stop this nonsense.

Pretty much the same as everyone else. He brought up my loft insulation possibly leading to condensation and mould. When I asked about getting something in writing before setting up a free survey, he just hung up on me.

Answered a call from someone saying they were from Guardian, but they clearly weren’t trying to push anything. Hung up and blocked straight away. Called it harassment after reading some of the other reviews they got.

Just like everyone else, I got a call about loft insulation. I asked how they managed to get my number since it’s ex-directory. After I asked that a few times, he just ended the call. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

Some bloke called himself Matthew from M&G Advisory Line, claimed they’d done my loft insulation before but that the stuff they used was making damp happen. He wanted to set up a check of my loft. I asked him for the company details and he just repeated the name, said they’re based in Oxfordshire. Totally sounded like a scam to me, and when I questioned him more, he just hung up. Steer clear of this one!!!

I got a call from 0121 599 5470 from a company saying they were about government grants for insulation and stuff. They said they were Eco Grant. When I rang back, it actually went to a company called Digital Solutions Marketing. The chat had weird silences and they asked some really personal questions.

Got a call like this recently, and when I asked what he meant about the loft insulation, he just shut off the phone. Really felt like a scam, talking about a free loft survey out of nowhere. Hopefully no one gets caught out by this and lets these lot into their house or hands over any cash.
