After seeing all the other messages, thought I’d share my experience. The caller ID showed “Birmingham” and the bloke said he was from Currys, mentioning my name and that I’d ordered a new controller from them. He said I’d soon get an email about the delivery time. I told him I’d already got the parcel. Then he tried to get me to buy a Currys care package, but I told him I already had one. He just said alright and hung up. I could hear loads of people chatting in the background. I checked with Currys via their website chat and they told me that number wasn’t theirs and warned about scam calls. Honestly, I don’t know if this was some third party or not safe at all. Either way, I’ve blocked the number and will be reaching out to Currys again to see if any of my info is being shared and with who.

This number rang me up and someone was telling me congrats on buying something from Curry’s, then asked if I wanted to get a care plan, so I went ahead and agreed. Later on, the same guy called again from 01501 527011. When I checked with NatWest, they said it’s a scam. As soon as he called the second time, I quickly transferred all my money out of my account just to be safe. Watch out for this!

Got a call today around 4:05pm from a guy claiming to be from Curry’s. He wanted to know if I’d bought anything from them lately. I told him no, we haven’t bought anything in like 2 to 3 years. Then he asked for my address, but I only gave him the first line. I mentioned I was jotting everything down, and he said my address didn’t match what he had. I just said fine, that’s all then, and hung up.

Got a call from this number earlier today. The bloke on the other end knew my name and even mentioned a recent order from Currys, which was a bit odd. When I asked where they were calling from, the guy just ended the call straight away. I reckon it’s a scam trying to get hold of your personal info. If you end up taking out some kinda protection plan with them, they probably get your bank details too and then mess about spending your money!

They definitely had info about my recent Currys order, like what I bought and my personal details. I'm thinking maybe they passed or sold my info to some third party for warranty stuff or something else. The woman on the phone wasn't annoying or anything, but it was one of those calls where they try to get you to pay for X and then you get Y kinda deal.

This number has rung me a couple of times recently, but I don't pick up calls from numbers I don't recognise - if it's urgent, they can leave a voicemail. I've made a purchase from Currys just a few weeks ago, so this ties in with what others have said. Bit worrying how they got hold of my details though. I'm going to block them now.

I didn’t answer as I was busy with something else then. No voicemail left, so I guessed it was just a spam call. Looking up this number, it seems others got calls from Currys PCWorld and one person was offered an extended warranty for products bought online, probably from Currys PC World too. I actually bought something from them online yesterday and didn’t opt for any extra warranty, so maybe that’s why they phoned. Leaving a voicemail would have been nicer, even though I’m not interested in the extended warranty!
