Somebody rang me up asking “is this (my name)?” I said “that depends, who wants to know?” Then he goes “it’s your dad” and just hangs up. What a muppet, obviously some foreigner having a laugh.

Got a call from a polite guy with a foreign accent claiming to be from a debt help company. Didn’t really trust it, so I just hung up and blocked the number.

Got a call from a guy with a foreign accent, claiming he was from a financial firm talking about a government program that could clear up to 60% of my unsecured debts. I told him I don't have any debts like that, and he just said thanks and hung up nicely. This was the second time I got a call like this today. I’ve blocked the number now.
