So I got a call from this automated system asking if I’d been in a car crash in the past three years, it was all voice recognition stuff. I said yes and then got through to a real person. Once I found out who they were, I reported the company to TPS.

Curiously, I decided to return the call, only to be greeted by a rather peculiar automated message insisting that I needed to add credit to my mobile. This struck me as strange, especially since I had a £20 balance at the time. To clarify things, I dialled my top-up number, only to find that my balance was suddenly showing as zero! Quite the baffling experience!

I dialled the number myself to see who it was, but it just rang a few times before this automated message popped up telling me the number couldn’t be found. Sounds like a spam call to me.

Some bloke called saying I had something to do with an accident that wasn’t even my fault. Told them straight away to take my number out of their system.

Total nightmare, kept getting calls from some dialler, no one ever answered and then they just dropped the call. Eventually managed to get through to a person - if you call them that, not sure how anyone could stay sane working in those call centres, poor them. Anyway, as soon as I told the bloke to remove me from their list, he just ended the call on me. Such a pain!
