She repeated it but then just kept talking non stop without letting me say anything, so I couldn’t explain I still wasn’t sure which company she was representing. She seemed to be delivering some kind of rehearsed pitch at a million miles an hour, honestly no chance to get a word in. After a couple of times me trying to say "Excuse me" and that I didn’t understand, she just went, “oh my god” and then hung up on me! The only word I was able to make out was “network”.5 yearsGot a call from someone with a strong Welsh voice claiming to be from AIG life insurance. She said I had to renew my policy for a better deal, but wanted my bank details - not the full card number, just stuff like the sort code. I decided to give them fake info to check what else they’d ask. Turns out it’s a scam because I don’t even have any insurance with AIG.
