I hardly ever pick up my mobile, but since we’re putting our house up for sale, the estate agent has my number. I answered the call without checking who it was, thinking it’d be the agent. Instead, it was a very nice lady claiming to be from something like "Dutch Investments". She then told me she’d been informed I’d been in a car crash. I told her to buzz off and ended the call. Now I’m worried I’ll get loads more scam calls, which is new for my mobile.

Got a call from an automated voice saying it was Lauren from "Adept Consultancy Services" - definitely one of those dodgy setups by some sleazy, ambulance-chasing lawyers. They said there was an accident I was "involved" in but this never happened. Total con!

I never pick up when I don’t know the number, so I didn’t answer. I then put the number into Google and ended up here, reading all the negative reviews! The weird thing is I’ve recently been in a car crash, so they must have got my details from somewhere, but where exactly, I have no idea! They really shouldn’t be allowed to do that. If someone wants to make a claim, they should go through their own insurance or a company they choose, not some random firm calling out of the blue!

Got a call from a lady, can’t remember her name, who claimed she was calling from Adept consultancy ltd. She wanted info about a supposed accident that never happened. When I asked her to say the company name again, she dodged it a few times but finally said it. Then I questioned where she got my number from, and she just hung up on me.
