I got a call from a firm saying my meter readings seemed off and that they needed to replace both my electricity meters. They wanted me to send photos of the readings over WhatsApp and have kept ringing me daily since then. In fact, while I was typing this, they rang my landline pretending to be from British Gas. I told them I’ve blocked their number and that they should stop calling me.

someone called claiming to be from my electricity and gas companies (which arent the same since this is a business place) and said they were swapping out both our meters.

They keep calling from places way outside our area, and since they never leave a message on the answering machine, we just ignore the calls.
