got a call from someone saying they were with british telecom, warning me my broadband would be cut off if i didnt ring this 0800 number (didn’t catch the digits properly) or press 9. they also told me to hold off on any online banking for now. felt like a total scam trying to spook me. i’ve blocked the number since.
