Got a call earlier today from someone claiming to be from the national debt helpline, but there’s no such organisation. Just ended the call straight away, wouldn’t trust them at all. Definitely stay clear of these people!

Got a call from them around 8:45 in the evening, and I asked if they were for real. They said they might call again, but I told them no need. Ended up blocking the number. I wouldn’t put it past them to have loads more numbers though. Seriously, don’t hand over any info!

i wanted to know where they got my info from as i supposedly owe money. they said it was from a debt management forum. then i asked if i could speak to someone else - no. i asked if they could send me an email - again no. then i asked for their address because the postcode looked like it was from birmingham. after that, they just said thanks for calling and put the phone down. how is stuff like this even allowed?

Got a call from someone claiming they knew about a debt I supposedly owed. I told them I don’t have any debt with them. Then I asked who gave them my details and before I could get an answer, they just ended the call.
