I got a call saying I'd been in a car crash, which is totally not true! When I told the woman I actually hadn’t been in any accident and certainly wasn’t dead, she just hung up on me. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Some lady who said her name was Lauren Hayes rang me up about an accident I was supposed to have been in. She kept grilling me on details like where and when it happened. I kept trying to find out why she was bothering me and where exactly she was calling from. After a bit, she just gave her name again, Lauren Hayes, and then just ended the call.
