Someone rang claiming to be from TalkTalk, sounded genuine cos my internet was rubbish. They convinced me to get this app called Alpemix. Honestly, don’t fall for that like I did! Took ages trying to get it off my laptop. If you’ve already been tricked, look up Revo Uninstaller on YouTube - it really helped me get rid of the mess!

Got a call from someone saying they were TalkTalk tech support. I asked if it was the same TalkTalk that never rings without warning, and just like that, the bloke ended the call. Pretty sure it was a scam.

some guy from pakistan called me, used my first name and said he was from talktalk tech support. ive never had talktalk call me out of the blue like that. when i asked him to prove it, he got pretty rude and told me my computer would be blocked if i didnt listen. well, i’m still here and nothing's blocked. just ignore and block these types. new year, same old scam attempts trying to get into your device and personal info.
